A couple of new additions to my Dune collection arrived yesterday.
I've never seen this style of proof come up for sale previously for any of the series.
God Emperor of Dune, signed by Frank...
That really is how Dracula should be done
I really enjoyed Night Film, so I'm happy to see that Marisha Pessl has a new book coming out.
She has a book tour starting this Saturday.

Would anyone be willing to send me this newsletter? Did they allow pre-orders for those titles?[/QUOTE]
Dune won't be up for pre-orders until sometime this summer based on CP's previous...
Nice, that's the version that I have.
I think I have an old hardcover of one of the 5 in my closet somewhere too.
The movie was one of Tim Burton's earliest projects at Disney, back when he was...
I had no idea there was a TV show of the Tripod books.
There was actually a fourth book published in the late '80s or early '90s called When the Tripods Came.
I loved the Tripod books and the Chronicles of Prydain as a kid, even saw Disney's version of The Black Cauldron in the theater.
Susan Cooper's Dark is Rising sequence was my #1 favorite though.
Barnes and Noble actually did a S/L of that edition.
It's still on my want list, but I think Bob has one.
Easton Press just announced a signed edition of Prince Lestat that matches the previous Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles.
Very cool.
One of the features that I really like about the new signed edition from Centipede Press is the gallery of old cover art for Logan's Run.
I almost forgot, Logan's Run from Centipede Press was waiting for me when I got home tonight.
Pics later in the week.
These 2 sounded the most interesting to me:

I'll give these 2 a "maybe read."...
On Saturday I did a photo shoot for Scholastic at the ALA Mid-winter Conference in Chicago.
It's a smaller trade show, but pretty much every publisher there was giving away ARCs and Uncorrected...
That was fast!
Glad that I jumped on it right away.
$85 and only 200 copies made it a pretty good deal.
Did anyone else pre-order Logan's Run from Centipede Press?
Nice. I've only read Asimov's Foundation books, but I really enjoyed the series.
Ah, thanks. I've never seen that version in person and wasn't sure if it still stated first edition or not.
Given how many Anne Rice collections have come up for sale over the last ten years, I'm...
