I think he has a gravelly voice, rough, kind of a "cowboy of the world" kind of voice.

Subtle sense of humor is sometimes the best. I used to work with a guy who rarely said anything funny, but when he did...oh man you would hurt yourself...
I agree. His humor is a lot more subtle, and rare, which makes it unexpected and somehow more funny. :)
