It was published in the Sunday Nov 5th edition. It was a pleasant surprise when I read my paper. I only get the Sunday edition delivered to my home.

I surfed to the Vanity Fair magazine web page, found the ToC for the October issue; there is NO mention of Sai King anywhere! :-(

I'll also vouch for Water for Elephants - and excellent book!. Lots of people liked The Yiddish Policemen's Union but I didn't care for it at all! :-(
