I just looked it up and his name is Nate D. Sanders. He is asking $2,250 with a Make an Offer option.
For discussion's sake what would be considered a fair price? It is outside my price range...
I would like to speak up and say he sold it to a Nate but it wasn't Nate Horning. I would love to own it but would more realistic in my asking price and condition representation if I were to sell it....
Thanks John. With the interesting choice of color and lack of firm information regarding the book, the pink version has always been a favorite of mine. Hopefully I'll be able to get one some day.

I too would love to see you just start showing your collection. If you need a starting place I have always been intrigued by the pink Talisman proof. Any photos and information on that one would be...
First congratulations on the proofs. That is a great haul. Second, I am still having trouble getting hooked up with the skemers newsletters. Are there any suggestions for whom to contact?

Vampires ??? Other Worlds still has a couple listed. Those of you interested : both the same price ... better rush to find it as one is Fine and the other VG
I assume Other Worlds is a...
The one at Betts was still there the last I looked. He had just lowered the price to $300 (from $400) so it might have sold since.
Nate
I think it was priced at $100, but it was a well-read/used copy. It also showed up on ABE but was sold before I could buy it. I think I know who bought it. I had forgotten about that one.
BTW,...
I was checking The Strand's website one day maybe six months ago and they had one listed for sale without a price. I called them and tried not to get my hopes up which was a good idea since they had...
No, not at all. And I hope my reply wasn't interpreted incorrectly. I guess that is the price we old-school guys who refuse to use emoticons must pay.
Ya, although they seem to help show...
I hope I didn't come across a little agressive earlier. I just wanted to say that I am impressed with your dedication and humility in the search. Happy hunting.
Nate
I would contest your last sentence. I would consider myself an "average collector" and I don't foresee myself ever adding this to my collection. Although I am willing to add it, I don't think I will...
That's what I figured but was hoping you got something truly "unique". Great buy anyway. I am jealous.
Nate
According to the listing it is a "unique" proof. I can see the desirability and value of it but how is it unique?
Nate
It was in really worn condition though. Not a true example of current pricing in my opinion.

Here are several nice articles about proofs:
