NOS4R2 is one of those not very good books that might actually make a very good movie/mini-series. The imagery is nice even if the story is lacking.
I wonder if the "defect" tag is just a way to unload unsold books without alienating collectors who paid the full price. Good deal though.
There are some hints that maybe King himself will be there. He was there a couple years ago and it was great because he did an actual book signing and he signed an older book if you bought a copy of...
That seems pricey. I would have guessed maybe $100-125 instead of $250 for the limited. And maybe $250 for the lettered.
Hmm. I'd watch a 2 hour AMC movie. Not so sure about a series.[/QUOTE]
On AMC that would mean 1.5 hours in commercials and .5 movie. AMC does some good stuff but the commercials are relentless....
I wonder if there will be any of those super rare unsigned editions?
The Fireman was way over hyped. It's readable but not great. Probably 200 pages longer than necessary.
You would probably be maced if you asked King to pose for a picture at a book signing. VIP events where folks have anted up hundreds of dollars for a few seconds with him are a different ball game. ...
Looks like a fun time which is the way these events are supposed to work. A real contrast to King's recent tours with the laundry list of rules.
At some point I might just read the book and not worry about whether it is signed upside down or sideways.
Some guy keeps knocking on my door. Says his name is Joe Hill and I have some unsigned books in my basement he has to sign. Very weird.
I have Joe Hill book promotion exhaustion. It seems like we have been waiting on this one forever.
How much will it cost to get a book not signed by Hill? He seems to be everywhere on this book tour. I wish his dad had the same attitude.
Got my signed copy of Wraith from BN. Started reading it and at first it was a bit high schoolish but 100 pages later it was getting pretty good.
Thanks for the tip. I ordered one as well. I wasn't exactly clear on the details of this "book." Is it a comic book? That seems to be how BN has it listed.
Is it possible to buy prints of some of the art work from the NOS4A2 special edition?
Now that's a cool cover.
