Obviously everyone has heard Tony Bennett, but he has a wonderful song that I never heard until I bought the CD it was on, and I couldn't understand why radio stations hadn't made it an annual...
I had a similar experience in the last few (or several) months: a song came to my attention, I looked it up (based on lyrics) and apparently saved it to a YouTube watch list, but could never figure...
Well, if someone's gonna post something called Metanoia, I pretty much have no choice:

Lateralus is one of those songs (Rio (Duran Duran), Comfortably Numb (Pink Floyd), Neverland (Marillion) would be others) where I rarely or never choose to put it on and if it comes on the radio or...
This is good, but from Sap I always preferred Brother (very powerful song).
And since I like tooting my own horn (always with the shades pulled and doors locked, of course), I have one of the Jar...

All You Need Is...
...but my favorite song from Duran Duran's forthcoming album Future Past (coming October 22, 2021) is Give It All Up:

Much of this (including the beginning) sounds like it was converted to a video game soundtrack; the rest sounds...
Hell yeah.
So, you haven't listened to Steven Wilson yet...but will you listen to a Steven Wilson song that has been remixed by Nile Rodgers?
The music video (shorter version):

I'm a giant Steven Wilson whore at this point; suffice it to say, do yourself a favor and listen to these:

King Ghost

...and Missing also features a bit of Gilmour.
I've been on an Arcadia kick lately and, after having blessed the politics thread with their Election Day, I now offer The Promise:

I know there's an appetite amongst those that frequent this thread for things with a beat, techno, etc., so perhaps there'll be some appreciation of this (which has been described as "prog disco"):
