In my experience, $52 is not that crazy for a heavy book. Even before the pandemic, it would cost $40-60 to ship a book from the Netherlands to the US, depending on the value and weight of the parcel.

I recently read The Thief of Always for the first time and loved it - much more than I thought I would. I followed up immediately with the graphic novel adaptation, which was also really fun.
