It scared me!
Not only forged, but used a black pen. Every signature King did in London was done with a blue pen.
Yup. It's good.
It's real. All the books I got signed in Paris were signed at the top of the page as well.
Spot on with secretary. Looks like SS's writing to me.
Just ask in the 'collecting questions' thread. But short answer is date. The closer to publication the higher the value and the older the sig (Prettier) the higher the value[/QUOTE]
I agree with...
I concur with this. A ludicrous offer does not deserve an answer.
Lots of types. With some, you can sign books over the Internet from anywhere in the world. You obviously have to have an autopen at each place.
Definate Autopen.
The King one is fake.
Just missing the main people... Ceri, Bob, Greg and Dave!
The signatures I looked at were all good. (Carrie and Creepshow) A bit expensive though.
Wow! An American who knows about punctuation. Well I never! :) :)
They might be using an Autopen. (Just a guess)
Forgery
Ebay tries to make it easy for sellers. They have a "sell similar" button which copies everything.
Horrible, but genuine.
It's a horrible "K", but I think it is genuine. He signed many thousands of these when he visited the UK in 1998. It is the cheapest UK signed book. Don't pay much for it.
If someone is known to sell forgeries, he is not a "stand up guy" in my eyes.
