Ebay took...

Someone may have already bitched about this.....but I just discovered it and want to rant.

Ebay is now collecting sales tax from buyers (which I knew about).....and they are baseing their fees off...

Last night, someone in the US sent me $392.50...ebay took $11.74 leaving me with $380.76.

Thanks for the replies....they have been very informative.

Going forward.....I will be asking for F&F or 2% instead of the 1.5% I have been asking for.

I personally am a fan of splitting Paypal...

I have see an niumber of folks listing things for sael here and on FB....and they are asking for Paypal payment via F&F or add 4%.

I thought Paypal fees were 3%....has that changed?

There are no Paypal fees on ebay transactions now.

NOTHING

They have just taken Paypal put of the equation and raised their prices.

And to add insult to injury......in "the old days"....when I sold something and someone paid.......I could use...

Finally signed up for Managed Payments on bay....because I was forced to.

So now, selling books on ebay costs me 14.35% of the total sale....and that total sale includes shipping and sales...

Besides waiting for a response....there is nothing you can/should do.

I have no doubt that the person will contact you with a new address....at which point you will ask them for another $10 for...

Thanks for input - my plan was to wait a month from shipping date - but still communicate once a week - to say it has not arrived and ask if any update on tracking info - being as polite as possible....

Seems like ebay is moving to a new shipping label page layout....one in which you cannot buy insurance for Media Mail.

They were not sold when I looked at them....all auctions had over an hour to go.

Click on any link above....then click on SELLERS OTHER ITEMS...the check the box that says SOLD LISTINGS or...
