My thoughts exactly.
I agree they could speed the Calla story up a little bit, but I hope they don't it all out, I really liked it. I would rather see the entire Calla story, rather than the 'Susannah and her Chap'...
Don't think thats going to happen:cry:
Why is there no news! :pullhair:
As I read the books I pictured Skeet Ulrich as Eddie, but I think he and Jared Leto are both to old to play the role anymore.
Exactly! That makes me think of the Fantastic Four movie, and how they got a dark haired, dark eyed woman to play a blond blue eyed woman. She just looked creepy throughout the entire film....
Christian Bale... No Way:nope:
I wondering how they will show Susannah "distracting" the demon, while Roland and Eddie rescue Jake.
That was a part that kinda threw me as I was reading it. It seemed unnecessary at the time.
:scared:
I love that idea! That way we can get the story we all love, and if any details are change they have a reason for it.
The concept seems to have worked for JJ Abrams and the Star Trek movie.
A friend of mine, who is a huge LOTR fan, always said you watch it the first time to criticize, but you watch it the second, third and forth time to enjoy it.
BTW I thought Tom Hanks made a hot...
Ya, I can Javier Bardem as Flagg, he was very good and creepy in "No Country For Old Men".
Thats what I keep thinking.
Great idea:thumbsup:
For me, i'm worried NBC will have to cut a lot out, or tame it down, to make it appropriate for network television. Where as HBO could get away with much more.
:scared:
What do they mean by
I'm still kind of worried about the jumping from TV to Film and back, but other than that I'm so freakin' excited.:excited::excited:
You can't cut out Tull, its one of the best parts.
For me it established how evil the man in black really was, as well as showing Roland's skill as a gunslinger. It made me want to keep reading....
