FWIW I wouldn't recommend spending an audible credit on something like this as the standard price is just $1.99.

Yeah the bulk of Hill’s comics is stuff he’s written himself. King doesn’t seem to be that interested in doing comics. The most extensive work he’s done was American Vampire and that was only five...
Lividian has announced a new limited edition of Heart-Shaped Box.

Yeah that's the alternate ending in the Subterranean Press edition. The story is he was committed to including that until Tabitha told him to change it.
It's an interesting idea but it reminds me...
You could still get your other items done, you just needed to have a copy of the new book at first to get in the line. That is pretty standard for most book signings that I have ever done. After...
First world problems and all that but I was a little frustrated at a recent signing where Hill would only sign Full Throttle and for anything else you would have to go to back of the line afterwards....
It's intentional. Hill by his own admission dropped a number of Stand references. For example the deaf kid is named Nick, a reference to Nick Andros.
Seems a bit expensive to me.[/QUOTE]
Yeah $175 is a bit expensive for me as well... their signed NOS4A2 (which admittedly did not come with a slipcase and had to be ordered separately) was only...
He teased a new "World War Key" series a while back.
I think 'NOS4A2' is decent so far. It's taking quite a few liberties with the book (to the point where it's more of a 'reimagining' than an adaptation of the book's story) but it's not like 'Under...
I'd start with Heart-Shaped Box; it's a quick read and really good. His short story collection 20th Century Ghosts has a variety of genres and I think is a good snapshot of his style. NOS4A2 is...
New NOS4A2 trailer

I imagine this trailer would be pretty weird to anyone not familiar with the book.
Yeah I was hoping for something a bit more like how he was in the comics.

Zachary Quinto is great at playing creepy characters but I was kind of hoping for Walton Goggins. That would have been perfect casting in my opinion.
:excited: Great to see that one of the networks has the sense of picking up an adaption of Joe Hill’s work! Pity that the Locke & Key series didn’t get picked up twice, perhaps this will open Fox’...
My ranking:
1. Heart-Shaped Box
2. NOS4A2
3. The Fireman
4. Horns
I think 'Locke & Key' taken as a whole is still his best work.
Just wondering what you guys thought of Strange Weather as a book.
I really liked the first two, the second two were a bit off.
It's kind of funny... with 'Aloft' I wished there was some sort...
J/w how is the second NOS4A2 limited with the Wraith comic for those who have it? I already own the original with Gabriel Rodriguez’s art.
I was there. You could bring three things to him and if you had more you had to go to the back of the line before he'd sign the rest.
There's really no limit as to what he'll sign for you provided...
