Just finished my first journey to The Dark Tower. Took a few years and a mix of reading and audio books. Loved every word of it and the ending. Looking forward to taking another trip in the future.

This last episode directed by BDH was good but she directed the worst of S1 which was episode 4, the Seven Samurai retread (a theme that has already been done in SW content in a Clone Wars episode)...
Doing a Spider-man multiverse that doesn’t have Miles Morales is never gonna fully make sense to me but after 50+ years of comics, numerous animated shows, and 8 stand alone films I think it’s time...
It’s a shame these are paired against each other. A lot of films lesser than both of these are remaining.
All of this ^^^^
Just saw that Mike DiMartino and Brian Konietzko have removed themselves from Netflix’s live action Avatar: The Last Airbender adaptation over creative differences. I actually expect this project to...
Somehow I’d never seen John Carpenter’s The Thing so I remedied that last night. Awesome movie and should be exhibit A for why practical effects are superior to CGI. Also possibly exhibit A for Kurt...
Yeah, they definitely have gotten out of hand. A self-contained multi-verse like in The Dark Tower or within Into the Spider-Verse doesn’t bother me. The problem is many of these are created out of...
Not gonna lie, I’m worried about what “remastered the special effects” means. The main thing I hope they fixed was the color of the FotR extended edition since it was off on the current Bluray.
Yeah, all six of them are great. My personal rankings are 1>3>5>4>6>2. The son’s books aren’t bad but they just don’t have the same “weight” to them.
Is it too late to get on the CP Dune pre-order list?
Rogue One would rank at #6 for me out of all the Star Wars films and is the last one that I’d give a passing grade to. I liked it well enough but didn’t really like any of the characters much except...

It sucks it has been delayed but it really is the right decision. I’m very worried we will never get the second movie if there are any more delays. It’s a shame WB didn’t have enough faith in Denis...
Shocking to see 12 Years a Slave come in last place, especially to what is essentially a lukewarm Steven Speilberg homage film.
As long as Gone Girl is gone I’ll be happy. One of those movies I couldn’t stand that others really seem to like. Ridiculous story to the point where I said, “Are you fucking kidding me?” out loud in...
Could not agree more. Everything about it is top notch including the soundtrack which has become a goto for me while working at home.
Hoping the Cubs can stay alive today. After seeing how the White Sox flamed out down the stretch, in part due to questionable managerial decisions, I’m even more sure the Cubs did the right thing...
Confused by how A Quiet Place is leading this. It was good horror movie but for me it’s the least of the four.
