I don’t think it needed three seasons. The entire extended Lord of the Rings film trilogy is twelve hours. Twelve could have done The Stand justice.
People point to American Gods but that show has...
I think they will, they’ve been giving Blu-ray releases to the other CBS Access shows.
I prefer the line from the book but I guess “I have come to teach you to be civilized” would have offended people.
Skarsgard definitely felt more like Flagg this episode.
Yeah I think the miniseries handled things better at this point. This just felt rushed. Kind of surprising how the miniseries felt less condensed.
I did like Flagg dancing, though.
They’re mainly in the background of the Vegas scenes of the last two episodes (5 and 6).
And the ninth is the coda by King. Wonder how they can effectively finish the rest of the book in two hours?
I'm finally caught up with the series now. Loved the elevator scene with Flagg. Owen...
Yeah Ezra is just bad here. I’m surprised someone didn’t reign him in.
Just finished episode 5... found the line about Flagg being lovers with Konstantin Stanislavski to be interesting. Never occurred to me that Flagg could be bisexual but he’s been around for thousands...
It’s not perfect but I haven’t had any major issues like I had with the It movies for example. It’s miles above Under the Dome at least.
On episode 3 now, still enjoying it. The flashbacks still haven’t been a problem for me, I haven’t found it hard to follow at all.
Just saw the first episode. I enjoyed it for the most part. The shifting timelines didn’t bother me that much; the exception being the ending with Harold which made things a bit rushed in my opinion.
Haven’t watched it yet (still sick) but disappointed to hear the mixed reactions. Wonder how it would have been if it was on HBO.
Fwiw I think the whole flashbacks bit is a carry over from when it...
Probably just smaller print.

I will hopefully watch it soon. I’ve been feeling sick the past week and not up to watching anything so I decided to hold off on signing up.
IMO the reviews are decent enough. If it was panned across the board I'd be worried.
I'm glad Skarsgard is keeping Flagg's sense of humor and the new look is growing on me but I still think he's too softspoken. I think Sam Rockwell might have been closer to the book's character.
