The door hinges are adjustable. If the cabinet is level, you should be able to line up the doors.

Don't rely exclusively on the pins, cams and nails. There is nothing like some quality wood glue...

The single unit is a case. The modular unit is a case. There are more materials and labor involved to fill the same space using four modular cases compared to a single larger case.

The less sun the better. Direct sunlight is the worst and will cause damage quickly. Indirect sunlight will still cause damage. It will just be less damage or take longer. Minor amounts of indirect...

Do pay attention to the finished sides and edges.

I use a power tool with adjustable torque to screw in the pegs/studs. Don't overtorque them or you'll blow them out.
