Anyone remember Matt Garza? I don't think he was slow between pitches but man that guy would spit and spit. Not tobacco spit just big and nasty looking phlegm like spits. Non-stop and hard to watch...

The Tigers had a closer who would adjust his socks, lick his fingers, adjust socks again, adjust other things, ask for another ball, lick fingers again, ask to cycle call again,........It was painful...
In regards to reviews do you think there is any plausibility that the league(s) do not want to speed them up? Regardless of an emphasis on length of game this allows for additional ad times.
In regards to reviews...I think they should not even utilize this in the game. The review process is boring and leads to other problems within the game. I would prefer the call on the field stand. If...
Thank you very much. Years ago I did this on ESPN but they became frustrating to me, then moved to CBS, and then Yahoo. They all became a little frustrating for a weirdo like me. :confused1:

For someone who doesn't much like the internet, doesn't access it via a phone or tablet, and likes straight forward websites is there a site which provides easy to access box scores? It seems there...
Buehrle.[/QUOTE]
There are decent examples of pitchers dominating with location. Towards the end of his career Greg Maddux continued to give quality starts without the aid of any true...
I think the Tigers have forgotten that these games count. Phew. They are stinking it up.
On a side note B. Colon at age 44 (nearing 45) still can throw some junk. Perfect game going into 8th last...
Congrats to the Houston Astros on their first ever WS win! What a great playoff season and entertaining World Series.
They can give him A Rods! LOL LOL
You are right. However I lived in the Tampa Bay/St.Petersburg area and saw how he grew a team. The Rays were stocked with young talent when he got there as well but he did wonders with coaching them...
Well I still think Maddon is an amazing coach. He managed to raise TB up and although with different circumstances (and money) did it in Chicago as well. Not many coaches can do what he does.
It was a fun series and last nights game was awesome. Congrats to the Cubs but was hoping that the Tribe would pull it out.
It really is a tough topic because everyone has their own opinion of right and wrong. Who is to say how much cocaine helped out Strawberry or Doc Gooden in their prime. But I will say steroids were...
In regards to steroid usage it is now illegal in baseball and was an illegal drug in this country. The players using it to combat/accelerate a return from injury had advantages in recovery from those...
I'm not sure how I feel about Bud being "enshrined" but The Boss with his commitment to winning and the record to back it up should be a slam dunk.
I'm in a rush this morning but I'm not sure I would vote for any of the players other than Orel. The steroid thing bothers me and while I loved Will Clark I don't know if his numbers warrant HOF....
2-0 isn't shabby. I think K-Rod should be an upgrade (practically anyone would be an upgrade) but he isn't a long term solution for that role. They have some nice young arms but I am tired of the...
I was excited to see that my Tigers new save guy blow his first save opportunity last night...The funny thing is that the Tigers ended up winning in 11 and used their 5th starter (not anyone from...
I'm an AL guy so congrats to The Royals!
