In honor of Page 71 of this thread, I have #71 of many books - but not a complete DT set, and am missing DT II (I have an author's copy). I think it's 18 books with the same number.

Well - I don't agree that it adds no extra value...I think to the right person at the right time, it adds a LOT of extra value.

Of course, I say that as someone who has 22 books with the same...

A matched set is obviously worth more - it's more unique, more difficult to find, etc. There's no doubt that's true.

However, finding the market for a matched set - especially with it up to 9...

You should contact Grant about that...they wouldn't give you the person's info, but they might contact them to see if they had any interest in selling.

If you have a LSOE, you might be able to do...

You can't just post a picture....you have to host it on another server - like Picasa or Shutterfly - and then use the link to that site.

Oof...you should email Grant and try to get hooked up with #158's owner....if you have all the other numbers, there wouldn't be any reason why that owner would 'need' 158.

I sold one for $3900 awhile ago, and thought that was a little low....probably is, but not THAT low. But, you know, it's one of those books where if you're looking for it, you might pay whatever...so...

You can put #71 on the list as DT, I, III-VII, but no II.

I used to keep the # a secret so I could pounce if I saw a book with the same number and not worry about someone bidding me up, but I sold...

Shill bidding won't be the problem...a phony, timewasting bid would be...but everybody's got to start somewhere.

I have Wiz down as owning Transgressions #118...not exactly DT I, but I guess it depends how obesessive you are! Haha...
