Which books do you have? I've read that starting with his longer works (Uzumaki, Tomie, and Gyo) is best.
Just ordered Uzumaki, very excited to start my Junji Ito journey:

"George" by Alex Gino. A sweet and poignant YA or middle-grade I guess book about a girl who everyone else sees as a boy. Definitely hits me in the stupid feels a whole lot. Perfect reading for these...
Had a gift card balance and ordered it! Cannot wait! There is also this, too:

I had no idea this beauty was even a thing and now I'm rushing to Amazon to order it! Nausicaa is my favorite Miyazaki film but I didn't know he also wrote the source material, I always assumed it...
This book sounds fascinating but it's not available on Hoopla, so I'll need to pick up a copy soon it seems!

Anything by Michael Crichton.
It's such a beautifully-written book dealing with such a dark subject. I still can't believe my high school English teacher let me write an essay about it as one of my elective summer reading books.
Nice! Let me know how you enjoy it. I have it sitting on my bookshelf waiting to be read.
I actually read it 15-20 years ago I think but remember almost nothing of it. I'm about a...
Reading Rosemary's Baby, got a first edition hardcover in a library sale for $1. It's beat up but I kinda like that sometimes.
Going to finally pick up these, cannot wait to dive in!

I'd love to get into him finally and will probably look for a good first edition of The Terror, and this seems to be turning into a Simmons thread, but we actually already have...
Might I suggest something light, like Discworld.
Haven't heard of it, I will check into it. I've never read any Prachett before.
I did just pick up the latest JCO from the library the...
Might I suggest something light, like Discworld.
It's King's short fiction, he always nails it, in my opinion, and this one has some great straight fiction pieces like Batman and Robin Have an Altercation.
Hopefully bears resume their trek through Michael Crichton's oeuvre
For my part, with what's been happening in our world, I'll be starting a re-read of Richard J. Evans's The Coming of the Third...
The full history of the US cannot be adequately told in a single volume. I really like The Oxford History of the United States series.
Maybe because I started reading King in 1994-95 but I really like the '90s novels. Rose Madder and Bag of Bones are particular favorites.
