Shelves are sturdy. I've had the deluxe Knowing Darkness, 'Salem's Lot gift and Secretary of Dreams sitting on mine for three years and it's still as straight as an arrow.

Those are Herdez, right? My choice too. Angled legs, glass doors, sturdy shelves. Of course, we'll need close-ups of each shelf in your collection thread.

I bought a brown/black bookcase from Ikea last week. It's Herdez with glass doors. Assembly was relatively fast and easy. Shelves themselves aren't bending (yet) but I'm not overloading them...
