I don't think that you'll have any problems with that if you order from a company like Ikea, Home Decorators, etc., rather than staining shelves yourself. The shelves I stained for my paperbacks did...

They suck. Period. I wish I had different ones.

I was worried about the color, but I like it. Not too red. As in most photos however, it doesn't look as good as it does in person.

Well, I unpacked my 3 boxes containing my bookcase and put it together. It looks fine and sturdy (I just need to mount it to the wall) but one of the doors has a gigantic scrape on the glass. :arg:
