Does anyone know the ETA on the slipcase from The Collector?
Yeah, it does IMHO[/QUOTE]
Agreed. This is a UK edition. If it's not, then Centipede Press books are Chinese editions because that's where he gets them printed (at least some of them.)
I saw this too late and didn't get an unsigned copy. Bummer.
I really don't know. It might have to do with their being the one publishing the Gaiman book and shipping is already factored in the price? My copy of We Are Here by MMS was $16 with free shipping...
That is really, really, (REALLY,) not that outrageous. It's just that you (US collectors) are used to having books shipped to you for a few dollars or if you're lucky, FOR FREE from CD, SubPress,...
This man gets it.
He didn't post any.
Like AKC, I like the ritual of going to an actual store and picking up a new book but in this case, I ordered two from Amazon for the price of one. I've also been to 5 book stores since Saturday.
Just looking at my bookcase while typing this, I don't think I paid more than cover price for any King book starting with The Eyes of the Dragon. Most of them were a lot cheaper than cover price too,...
Received my two copies from Amazon today. Mint and crisp. Already 40 pages in.
Bad Moon have the paperback listed on their website.
My Visa shows a charge. Less than a hundred bucks with shipping to Canada. Incredible.
I'm hyperventilating here waiting for an e-mail confirmation.
It'd be nice if PS did a limited/GE edition to match The Colorado Kid.
