Got it.
Hm.
I like the way Scott McCloud explained this principle --

Even if you can get a movie made that is not just like other movies, you can't make commercials that show the fact. It is a basic irony of the human condition: the majority don't want creative. ...
Biggest disappointment since Pet Sematary.
I really liked the rewrite in Secret Window, though. There are some all-around good SK adaptations out there.
Me, too. Exactly. Sounds good.
Well, now it sounds even better to me!
Time to talk about The Butterfly Effect (2004). I've mentioned before (I believe, somewhere around tdt.org) that it's one of the few films which I found better in the studio-approved theatrical...
Eh, I can't criticize -- I did watch most of the damn things myself. I guess it must be one of those things that at one time or another, everybody just has to learn for themselves.
Better plan: finish the first and then stop, watch something else more worth your time. (Practically the same as saying watch something else, period.)

I don't know if I'd say it was better, but I'd definitely say that it was his. King's peculiar sensibility was all over that adaptation. It's a mixed bag, for sure; some of the serious elements...
Dang, that reminds me; I still haven't seen Sleepwalkers or Golden Years. Can you believe that? I've seen every other SK adaptation. (Well, aside from small independent films and stuff.) Rose Red...
Now and then, I like a bit of vintage kitsch. If EfNY came on TV, I might re-watch a few of the Ernest Borgnine scenes, for laughs. Pretty corny, overall, though.
Now They Live, that's a fine...
They're just kitsch. The first one is at least vintage kitsch. The other one's plain dreck.
Hey, look: An entire forum just for arguing about television shows!
Because everyone knows LOST is/was the best show on television. :P[/QUOTE]Yes, even jungle tribes who've never seen a T.V. set have heard that.
What does this mean? The 1970s ...
For TV, "Fear Itself" was truly excellent.
Oh, we noticed... No offense meant. I dunno about anyone else, but I was just struck speechless. :|
I rather like them - not half as much as slow, creepy, involved horrors featuring little girls, psycopaths and the chilling history of a particular house/lake/doll/family/hospital - my main problem...
Very true. I haven't got any scary ones that aren't really good, off of the top of my head, but I could easily list a number that don't much scare me although they're definitely some of the best...
