Finally got around to reading DC's Flashpoint event. Honestly as far as What If's that one was kinda lame. I wanted to read the Batman-Flashpoint spinoff but if the central story is anything to go by...
Reading Hickman's new X-Men run. Fascinating stuff, I'm loving this new status quo. I had to look up the whole Krakoa thing tho.
Shannon are you current with the, um... current X-Men run by Hickman?
Has anyone here read Annihilator by Morrison? It just dropped price on Amazon by about $5 and I'm thinking of snatching it up.
I can't wait I waited this long to read Irredeemable by Waid. What a fantastic book.
WeDeal - I'm thinking of getting Comixology for my Amazon tablet, do you have an account? Is it worth it?
I love Hickman. It's a shame that Manhattan Projects remains unfinished.

I'm forwarding that to my siblings and asking them to split it 3 ways for my Christmas present lol.
Wait, Morrison is writing X-Men?

Whaaaaaaaaa? I heard Black Hammer is amazing.
I am so fucking glad you read it man. I need to discuss it.
So the entire Xibalba - mission to space was just in his head, right? He created a fantasy narrative where he was the hero because of...
Dude... have you read Nameless yet? Just finished it over the weekend. That might be one of the best single-volume graphic novels I have ever read. It's still messing with my mind.
NGE the...
Where are you with Nowhere Men?
To that point, I'm reading Nameless by Morrison. This guy's imagination is such a mind fuck, I love it.
Also, have you read Watchmen? That's seminal graphic novel reading.
This is it in a nutshell. Moore's work on these is largely erotic and unsettling but it's usually in service to the narrative he's trying to tell.
Latest pick ups:
Descender Vol. 1
Dark Night
Preacher Book. 6
Still need to pick up Prophet Vol 5. That series is so damn trippy lol.
Want to wait until Fables is done with completely so I can speed binge my way through it. I left off on Vol 14, I think..
