I agree...I think schools should encourage ANY reading. I know there are 'classics' that are used in lessons, but why not let kids loose in the library, too? Why not let them have classtime to persue...

I'm two stories into Bazaar of Bad Dreams, and I'm loving it.
I'm also part-way through both Hyperion by Dan Simmons and Seveneves by Neal Stephenson. I'm enjoying both of those as well.
Armada was pretty good. I liked Ready Player One better, but both were enjoyable.
