So how much does a previous owner's name really effect the value of a book? My 1/1 of Night Shift has an owner's name on the inside cover. The book and DJ are in NF condition. I paid considerably...

The books come from different publishers. I don't see how that could be considered a set.
It does nothing for me since The Stand is readily available. If it were a book that was hard to find, it would be more interesting. Different strokes for different folks.
I paid $170 a few years ago, so I guess if you factor in the whole lot, it was a good deal.

I stopped worrying about my comic editions being first printings...reading the story is more important than what it might be worth
I paid $150 for the S/L a few years ago. I have see some people sell what looks like a 1/1 with the signatures on the title page.

I'm guessing $750-$1000. Everyone is going to want to try and double their money.
There has been a copy of the signed DTI tapes on eBay for a while at $400 with no takers. I bought my DTI a few months back for $125.
