I have generally been very disappointed with the DCEU so far (OK, JL wasn't bad, Snyder cut). However, maybe, just maybe with, Gunn at the helm this will start a trend going forward. Disney, Fiege and the MCU are just light years ahead. I'll give this one last shot though.
"Flash Movie" leaks and what not (Spoiler Tags to be safe):

Pretty intense and ballsy, IMHO. If they can pull it off it may help them do a little catching up to the MCU huge lead in superhero films. I gotta say though, I think, Snyder/Warner' choice to go "Darker" than the marvel films is a mistake. However, that is just my personal opinion. History and the box office will call the outcome definitively, of course. 08-03-2021 11:56 AMHunchback JackI don’t think there’s been any confirmation that these films would actually appear, has there? There was a suggestion in the video that they might appear as comic books, perhaps. 08-09-2021 12:21 PMHunchback JackAny member reviews for The Suicide Squad? My third- or fourth- hand impression is that the DCEU found a tone and a director to suit the content of the script, so it worked.
HBJ 08-09-2021 01:13 PMmaeI don't do reviews, so I'll just say that I had a blast and absolutely loved it. Never in a million years did I think we would see weird DC characters such as Polka-Dot Man and Starro on the screen, but here we are, and they were awesome! A group of us went, not all DC fans (they all asked me questions afterwards), but everyone was laughing and ewing and had a great time. Make sure to stay till the very end. 08-11-2021 06:32 AMfernanditoI liked - not loved - TSS. Some of the humor fell a little flat for me, but with the action and overall wackiness, it's hard not to be dazzled by it at times. The art direction was very creative and flashy. A far cry from the drab colors of the first SS. 08-13-2021 01:27 PMMerlin1958 10-16-2021 12:48 PMmae 10-16-2021 01:44 PMmae 10-16-2021 01:45 PMmae 10-16-2021 01:45 PMmae 10-16-2021 01:46 PMmae 10-16-2021 02:01 PMmae 10-17-2021 11:48 AMwebstar1000Batman looks fuckin insane. 10-17-2021 03:04 PMMerlin1958 10-18-2021 08:37 AMfernanditoThat new Flashpoint trailer gave me goosebumps. Perfect choice of music (the beginning had traces of Danny Elfman), Michael Keaton's stoic voice over. I think it's going to be a special film.
And then there's new Matt Reeves Batman film. When he nonchalantly takes machine gun fire. When he's walking away from the flames towards Penguin. When he says 'I don't care what happens to me'.

Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Poirot, for example. The latter has been in 16 theatrical release films, for comparison.
But yes, Batman has appeared in many films.
