The Great Movie Tournament - 1970s: Round 5 - Group 10 of 16

But Mad Max is a franchise that continues to this day. Omen has had some lukewarm sequels and a terrible reboot.

If this was Mad Max 2 I would have gone with it, but og Omen always terrified me as a kid.

I never actually watched the reboot. I love the original too much to do that. And I actually really enjoyed the sequels. But the original, as feev says, is a terrifying classic. King fans should be all over it!

The Omen gets my vote here. One of the best horror movies ever. I'm not sure what the sequels (to either movie) have to do with anything.

I was going to say I was shocked but I think I've been on the forum long enough now to know that my tastes don't exactly line up with a lot of people on films. While I appreciate The Omen as a film, I appreciate Mad Max more.
