For this playoffs poll, please choose one track to move on to the Tournament Finals as the representative of this time period in music.

It's weird a bit seeing both songs from the beginning of this time period. So nothing was good for the rest of that time? Not even this, from '98?

I don't think either song would've been in my top 10 for this time period when we started. The No Doubt song probably would've been top 20 though.

Looking back, I voted for the Seal song more often than I realized in the later rounds. It was up against some pretty weak competition. Probably quite a few better songs were left along the wayside because of this.

How is this happening?

Don't hate me Pablo but I like "Don't Speak", I don't love it. I get bored with it at about the 3 minute mark. I feel it would be a better song if shortened. I would never listen to it twice in a row. "Kiss from a Rose" always seems to be ending way too fast and I can easily listen to it more than once in a row.

An easy choice for me.... Seal - Kiss From a Rose. :thumbsup:

I've just listened to both; now I remember them and have to vote before they disappear from my memory without leaving a trace (which already happened before)

Kiss is marginally better, although just as forgettable
