Good Time. Man, Robert Patterson is a good actor. I think he will kill it as the Batman. This was a solid 8/10 flick.

I enjoyed The Invisible Man quite a bit. I give it a 4/5, but I was just starting to get sick while seeing it that morning so it's possible that mitigated the film somewhat. I missed about five minutes or more around the job interview with a trip to the bathroom, and a bit later on as well.
Spoiler: 03-11-2020 08:51 AMSt. TroyI recently saw Godzilla: King of The Monsters.
I always watch this type of movie because I like seeing huge things blow up, and I often (but not always) like monster movies, so I do get something out of them...yet I don't really like them too much, as the stories usually strike me as dumb (GKOTM and the Pacific Rim movies did) and the good cast usually goes to waste (in this one, they really rammed the cast full of people deserving better material; when David Strathairn popped up, I gave up - but then, it's always good to see Sally Hawkins, isn't it?).
Still, it would be silly of me to criticize these movies; they deliver what they promise, and they're good at what they do. 03-11-2020 08:58 AMStill Servant 03-15-2020 08:27 AMRandall FlaggThe Hunt:

5/6 beers on the RFSRS 03-15-2020 10:19 AMAremagFinally got to see Crawl. Tense, fun and in the upper echelon of 2019 movies for me. 03-15-2020 06:37 PMDoctorZaiusWatched Begin Again with the family tonight. So impressed with this indy gem - a big small film. Nothing cliche about it. The whole cast (Ruffalo, Knightly, Levine, Steinfeld, Cordon, Green, and Def) is superb. Plays like a tribute to the writer/director's equally small film Once. Great stuff. 9/10. 03-15-2020 08:07 PMShannon 03-16-2020 06:21 AMIwritecodeI watched 3 movies that were new to me over the weekend.
Halloween
This was the newest one by John Carpenter which is supposed to be a direct sequel to the original and completely ignores all the other sequels.
Spoiler:
Overall I'd give it a 2.5/5.

Really enjoyed it. The cinematography in it was amazing. I listened to a little bit of the commentary and it was fascinating to hear how they did certain shots. There was also a documentary on the dvd which was equally intriguing. It basically covered the whole production. I love behind the scenes footage like that. 03-25-2020 07:05 AMfernanditoThe Lighthouse is definitely an intriguing fable. All the nods to Greek and Norse mythology made it that much more enjoyable for me. 03-31-2020 08:06 PMAremagJust watched The Invisible Man. I thought it was a decent take on a classic story with a fairly predictable "twist". I'd give it like 3.5 out of 5.
