128 short stories, one winner! Choose your favorite short story in each of the battles below. The winners will advance until we have one winner per bracket. There are four brackets. Those bracket winners will then face off against each other. The short story in each of the battles that gets ten votes first wins, that's when voting for that battle will end. Not a problem Shannon! Loved that story. I noticed the majority of our picks coincided in earlier rounds.

For me, it's always been about The Last Rung On The Ladder, Survivor Type, and A Very Tight Place. My favorites. :)

Very solid picks-- though I have yet to read Survivor Type. My top three to date would be The Ledge, The Road Virus Heads North, and Stationary Bike.
