Pretty sure just being a member of the CDCC alone would have gotten you a notice....

Nope, it only went out to current members. Money was tight around renewal time and I never got around to renewing it in time.
I have the lettered edition ordered of the second book, so I was hoping THAT would get me first right of refusal on the third title, but nope...
No email for me. :-/
The first email notice I received stated it was because I previously purchased a special edition. The next day the second email notice stated it was because I was in the CDCC. Based on that I would have assumed all purchasers of a limited would have received an email first.
I agree with every word lotuz wrote before his cooler head prevailed.
+1, Timothy!

I received one email because I purchased the S/L of Gwendy's Button Box. That's it. No CDCC email.
I did get my order in though!
So, yeah, I have lettered copies of the first two books -- correction, I have lettered copy of the first book, I have 'ordered' lettered copy of the second book which I suppose I'll actually see sometime in 2024 -- but I won't ever get lettered copy of the third book because I wasn't quick on the draw to a random innuendo email on a random Monday afternoon. Is it really that hard to hold rights to a letter for, I don't know, maybe 72 hours at least? Ah well, I wouldn't see the book until 2028 anyway, I suppose by then any bitterness will have faded.
Question for Brian or Dan. Just wondering how the If It Bleeds slipcases are coming along?
Yes, there was an unsigned hardcover edition sold at the same time as the signed limited.
Hmm interesting. I don't seem to be able to find any info about it. I'm going to guess we probably won't be producing a slipcase for it then.
