I don’t think the carrier makes a difference. I haven’t been able to access the forum off of WiFi for over a month. Any other site works just fine.
By the way, this is still happening for me. When I was on my little roadtrip last week, couldn't get on the site unless it was on wi-fi.
Have you tried turning Wi-fi off, to force your phone to use your provider's network?
That’s what I mean, if I’m on LTE (I have AT&T), the site won’t connect.
Possible issue with IPv6 settings?
Check this out: https://www.linode.com/community/que...lular-networks
Not exactly the same scenario as our hosting, but I can confirm I see the same results when doing those tests against the site.
this is the recommendation:
To get it working for those customers, you could either add the required "Listen" arguments to your Apache config for IPv6[1] and restart Apache, or remove your AAAA records and not advertise IPv6 for that domain.
We removed the ipv6
Please advise.
That doesn't work for me.
I can't get on the site with data.
FYI, once I am on the site with wifi, I can turn off the wifi and use data.
This is all very puzzling.
I get on fine without wifi using my 4 ear old galaxy j7 prime and chrome and MexicanPCS.
I just tried again on my iPhone. Still can’t open the site off of WiFi.
Whatever was done, LTE works for me now!
I have an iPhone (11 Pro) works fine for me on a data connection (4G)
Mine is working too.
Working for me now, as well. Thank you!
for some reason the site can never remember my username and password anymore, both on my desktop and also when accessing on a phone. Why is this?
No idea, but your browsers have settings that will remember.
I have been using firefox for years, but getting frustrated with it, so trying out other browsers. Was trying microsoft edge, but every time I try to read a thread I get a message from microsoft that the page has been marked as dangerous for phishing attacks. Even if I report it as safe, it still gives me the error. I can choose to visit it anyway, but it is a PITA.
So just wondering if anyone else uses microsoft edge without these type of issues, and if so, what you did to stop this.
Thanks,
Mike
I use Firefox just for this site now. I don't want to change Edge settings that would possibly allow viruses to get in from other sites.
I have also told Edge to go to this site anyway and reported this site as safe many times but it (Edge) is still unusable for this site, for me.
