Couldn't have put it better myself, Sam. That's why he had to label the 1997 versions of his original trilogy as "Special Editions" and not "Directors Cuts": aside from the first one, he was mucking about with other people's films!

I voted. Is it obvious?
while we were saying all that, someone else voted for Lucas...
Of course. Just to thwart me. At least Cronenberg is up to 9.

ROFL! Jean, I'm not sure your sign will encourage many to reveal their faces.
IMO, Lucas's best work was American Graffiti.
(Very young and very hot Harrison Ford as Bob Falfa, the drag racer that challenges John (Paul Le Mat).)
ETA: Ooops.
A brief listing of notable cast members of American Graffiti:
Richard Dreyfuss - Curt
Ron Howard - Steve (as Ronny Howard)
Paul Le Mat - John
Charles Martin Smith - Terry (as Charlie Martin Smith)
Cindy Williams - Laurie
Candy Clark - Debbie
Mackenzie Phillips - Carol
Wolfman Jack - Disc Jockey
Bo Hopkins - Joe
Harrison Ford - Bob Falfa
And, of course, Suzanne Somers as "the blonde in the Cadillac"
George Lucas advances !
There will be a tie breaker thread to determine which of the two David's will go through to the next round.
I refuse to acknowledge the results.
I wish I hadn't found the contest now.
The baby Jesus just killed a puppy.:nope:
Bummed that Stone is knocked out so early. NBK and BOT4J are two of my favorites.
