Interesting, up to this point Frankenstein is the top vote getter, but it is barely holding on this round.

M is an amazing movie.

After careful deliberation.... Frankenstein.

Interesting that both feature a character that kills a child with an angry mob hunting them down. M is as powerful today as it was then. That opening scene is a beautiful, horrible nightmare and the film's ending line...it might be Lang's Masterpiece but Metropolis I feel is possibly just as good if not better and also, I prefer Bride of Frankenstein to Frankenstein. I think it's a funner film. In The Black Phone, the opening credits end with a balloon caught in power lines like how the opening scene of M ends.
