I will pick up the baton if Bill isn’t. Same rules as last year.
Password is still “roland”.
First games are Saturday so hurry and jump in.
I see two others already in.

This "Bill" will play along. The other Bill (Merlin) offered a trophy last year, but I didn't want to get too involved and mix it up with the regular season stuff. I'm good with just having bragging rights. :)
Some day in the future, ESPN may combine the two and we'll run our contest all the way to the Super Bowl.
OK - after joining the group, this is a crazy contest! Interesting and probably more fun for the Fantasy players. You pick a lot of elements of a specific game, aside from win/loss. Examples: most passing yards, touchdowns, over/under, etc. Interesting. I'm in the game!!!!
Trophies for the top 2 again.
Also, they added Vegas like picks-most yards, td’s, etc…and they count!
Got 6 entries and counting....
Link? And I'll pop for a trophy again if you all would like. Let me know.
Who knows? Maybe I'll get to buy it, and display it for myself!! LOL

Hoping I got it right. I will cover/get the 2 trophies. 1st & 2nd like last year.
Thanks guys. More continuing my football education. I now understand what over/under means. Basically because that concept is simple.
But if someone could explain to me how you can have half a pass as in "Over/Under 2.5 passing touchdowns by Tom Brady?" I can see someone throwing 2 or 3 touchdown passes but 2.5? WTH?
Makes you choose basically choose 2 or less, 3 or more
Thanks for clearing that up. I guess all interests have their own weird language and rules.
I am the least geekiest football fan. One reason I never gravitated to either fantasy football or betting on football. Stats don't usually interest me. For me, it's as simple as who has the most points at the end of the game. :)
This contest does make me pay more attention to more things on the field. I am digging that.
Damn!
Am i too late Garell? Bill of the Southwest?
Looks like it's too late.
Good luck all!!
I hope you have better officials than at the Bengals/Raiders game. Not only the issue with the whistle...the officials interjected themselves way too much in that game.
Yea, but I am actually proud of the Raiders for the first time since the 80’s.
I feel Carr has potential for more.
Raiders were robbed!!!
We are used to it....sadly.
I think the Bills/Chiefs game should have been the Superbowl.
Amazing weekend of games. The last being an all time classic.
I agree! That was crazy and spectacular all at the same time.
I've never liked the NFL rule(s) for overtime. My solution is simple:
Regular season rule -- a 10-minute "quarter" where you play an additional 10 minutes just like a regular game. Most points scored after that 10-minute period is the winner. Seems completely fair to both teams.
Playoff rule -- an additional 15-minute quarter added to the game. If there is still no winner after that quarter, then the winner will be the team that scores the next point. Seems easy, logical and fair to me...and to the teams involved.
Any thoughts?
John
Go with the college rules.
I agree, change to College rules. The way its set up right now -and especially at this point in the season where high powered offenses are more than likely than not to convert TD- whoever wins the coin toss wins the game.
Mahomes scoring a TD and then Allen getting a chance to bring them back from the brink yet again; tell me that wouldn't have made the game even more epic?
