Every time I see the title Whiplash (which I have not watched) I think it's the movie Whip It (which I have watched).

Had to scroll down to the trailer to realize it. :redface:

More love for Nocturnal Animals, please. One of the biggest "What the hell am I watching?" opening scenes, though. :lol:

I'm happy to see The Lost City of Z doing fairly well. It's one of those films that really has an old Hollywood feel to it.

By the way, a little behind the scenes peek: when I prepare the materials for these polls, I collect the Wikipedia links and the posters from Wikipedia for every movie, and plug those into a template I've developed that I keep in Excel, and of course I also plug in a trailer. My philosophy when picking a trailer is usually one that shows as much of the movie as possible. Sometimes this won't be possible, some smaller movies only have one trailer out there. Older movies usually, too. But with this decade and the blockbusters and the more well known studio films, there were so many trailers to choose from. I hope I did a fair job at picking good ones. One big exception was Avengers: Endgame. I had to go with a quick home video trailer, because all actual theatrical trailers focused too much on the journey leading up to Endgame and not the film itself. I watched every single teaser and trailer Marvel put out for Endgame, and this really was the best one, even if it's short and for the home video release. Not that anyone really cares, but I thought it was an odd little story :)

I care! I love to learn about the workflow for things like this. I was always curious how you worked it. I also think it's great that you watch every trailer.

I actually do watch every trailer before I vote even though I have a good idea which movies I'm going for. But sometimes watching a trailer will remind me more of the movie and tilt one over another. It's happened a few times already.

Surprised to see a great horror movie like Raw struggle with our membership. It deserves more than just two votes.

I voted for it.

Endgame with just two thirds of the vote so far makes me think it won't be the lock everyone thought it would be.

Ted was fucking amazing.

A friend and I tried to get into Ted 2 as extras but never made it (I work within walking distance of many locations in both movies).

Infinity War will fare better, I think it's generally accepted as the better of the two. Not to take anything away from Endgame though, that film is amazing too.
