It, that part of the story always makes me extremely sad.

i had not realised how many sk books i have cried over till i read the spoilers, but for big old sobs it has to be dt1

Duma Key is the only one I haven't read yet, but I'll get to it soon.

This was a very difficult decision. Every moment listed here had a profound impact on me. I think that I'll stay with my nomination.

Tommyknockers, Dark Tower, and The Talisman

The very fact that Peter is "only" an animal, as opposed to Oy and Wolf who are quite obviously more than that (to differing degrees and in differing ways), makes his fate much more horrible. He did not understand. There was only fear and confusion and sorrow - and an endless hell of it for a creature that lives almost entirely in the moment.

I am with Sam on this one, so sad...

sigh. the talisman. i cry big ole baby tears every time.
