I wonder if King has any publication day ritual? I assume not since by the time a book is published he is probably well onto the next book. Literally just received my copy from Amazon as I was typing.
Great GMA video, thanks for sharing
Wish they would've given him a longer interview slot.
Received my reading copy today!!!
Got my reading copy from Amazon, anyone know how to tell if its a 1st printing?
Got this on Kindle last night and finished it already. I really liked it. I feel some of his books post-2000 have bad dialogue for young people (reading Under the Dome at the moment...), and this doesn't have that problem. Great narrative style. I'm interested to see what people think of a certain connection to another book...
I'm about 70 pages in. A typical fun King read. You have to suspend disbelief a bit about his child characters that are stereotypes and bear little resemblance to post 1970 kids. Little plot tidbits that remind me of Dead Zone, Firestarter etc.
Does anyone know when the signed editions will ship?
Half done with it and I love it.
My order's with AU as well, excited :excited:
Finished Later. Amazing! One of his top tens to me. Definitely one of his 3 best since 2000. Duma Key, Revival, and Later. Nice pace with little to no sidetracking. All meat and no filler.
Agreed (except about Revival). I really loved this one. Definitely the best of the Hardcase books by far and probably number 5 for me out of the 21st-century stuff (11/22/63, Doctor Sleep, The Dark Tower, and The Outsider top my list).
I finished it as well. A good read but not a great one. I enjoyed Joyland much more than this book.Spoiler
On the King groups... EVERYONE is loving this book.
