Unless people behind Dead Space are running the show, I'm not going to get excited. Not sure where they ended up since EA shut down Visceral. I'd much rather have a remaster that doesn't suck. The game doesn't need to be remade. It's already fantastic. Plus it's EA so the odds of it being a lazy cash grab are fair.
Maybe when they release some gameplay. I refuse to allow any hype with non-gameplay trailers anymore. Too many developers use them to hide flaws.

Dead Space is a really fun franchise. If you're into survival horror, then give it a shot. I'm not sure why they feel it needs to be remade, I'd much rather just have another game in the franchise.

Got me a brand new 4K TV and a capture card. Also picked up Fallout 1 and 2 for a few bucks each. Going to enjoy playing those on the train back and forth from school.

Also Axiom Verge 2 is out. For those of you who didn't play the first one, play that shit rn. It's a Metroidvania with heavy sci-fi leanings.
hmm i need to get those as i've been a massive Zelda fan since Jan. (1989) when i first played the 1st game that's why i'm a gamer is cause of that game. i found my Game boy SP i have been looking for this for like 3 or 4 months! and where i found it i remember putting it there too!

Dude, I loved Hades for the first like 5 hours but honestly the whole losing your gear thing just didn't jive with me. I like mastering my weapons, so having to start from scratch so frequently kinda grated on me after a while. I guess roguelites aren't for me.Quote:

In terms of weapon mastering each of the 6 weapons has 4 different aspects that changes his the weapon works so there's actually 24 weapons...you can upgrade each aspect 5x for a total of 120 upgrades... and since you'll need about 500 Titan hearts to fully upgrade everything, mastering the weapons and it will be quite the endeavor.
It's honestly amazing how you're essentially playing the same 45 of game minutes over and over and yet 70x attempts and it's still super fresh. I just had a perfect storm of abilities and weapon upgrades and absolutely destroyed Hades..the weakness of the Fists (necessary proximity to Hades to deal damage) became a super strength.
Really man, it's going to take you 30-50 attempts just to defeat Hades, and that's when the game really opens up and becomes great... not only does the gameplay open up, but so does the characters and the world.
I'm throwing on Twelve Minutes to see what it's all about.
I started playing Myst today. Was just curious. Will be a bit before I actually get to it. I'm getting burnt out on Hades and then I really want to close up the unfinished games I have going before school starts in two weeks. I've got to finish Fallout 4 at the very least, but I still have Octopath Traveler, Halo 2, and Final Fantasy 12 to finish. I know I'll lose a fair bit of gaming time to Diablo 2 when they drops in a month.
Everytime I see this thread pop up I'm reminded that Sony continues to take L's with not restocking the PS5 :arg:
Alan Wake Remastered is almost done completion. Great surprise announcement. Cannot fucking wait. A lot of the visuals are great, but the face animations were always pretty wonky...hopefully they really upgraded stuff like that to make it more immersive.
