I can see Die Hard going far af in this tournament.

There was no good trailer for Vagabond but that video and song is just heartbreakingly perfect.

Also, "Supernature" during The Last Unicorn trailer is perfect, too!

Die Hard is the perfect action film.

Karate Kid is literally the '80s in a nutshell.

It is a heart breaker. I'm so glad TCM showed it one night or I might never have seen it. Brilliant!

Oh man, Funny Farm way ahead of both Vagabond and The Last Unicorn (just two votes each!) is painful to see :cry:

Funny Farm is one of those movies that I watched probably 100 times when I was a kid. At the time I considered Chevy Chase my favorite actor. Probably because he was everywhere at the time. SNL, Caddyshack, 3 Amigos, Spies Like Us, Fletch, the Vacation movies...

I love Funny Farm so much. I've seen the movie countless times and own it on dvd. It never gets old for me.

I watched it recently and enjoyed it. It kind of reminded me of The Money Pit in some ways. I prefer Money Pit and was surprised to see it not get nominated.

Vagabond and The Last Unicorn still with only two votes? :scared:

Not that it matters but I gave The Last Unicorn its 3rd vote solely because my wife said she loves that movie.

I expect Die Hard to go a long way in this tournament. I remember seeing it in the movie theater for the first time. It was an immediate game changer in the action film genre. Very impactful.

Yeah, I remember it was the first movie that seemed tense from start to finish.

Lost Boys FTW. Was partying in SC during those days, so a little impartial

I can't believe more people don't love or haven't seen The Last Unicorn. Definitely needs more votes.
