Yep.
I asked Pasiuk to deal off EBay as I wanted it but he already had a bid:(

Wonder why he signed it like that?
Looks nice. Not perfect, but good inscription, signature, and date:

I may well be wrong, however I was under the impression that King signed these on the limitation page as well as the inscription.
Nowhere near my books at present, to check, so apologies if this is incorrect.
Fairly certain this is one of the "Christmas Cards" he sent instead of The Plant that year.
I believe I have seen other copies signed and inscribed as such.
A bit dinged up, but legit from a reputable seller/member:

If anyone looking for a nice copy of IT here you go. I refrain from trying to grade this edition because I don’t know what it looked like off the shelf but the condition is definitely competitive. Will provide additional photos or info I may have missed on request.

I know he also has a Colorado Kid piece that is identified as a prelim The Colorado Kid
Is the Joyland definitely not the final painting? Either way, the price seems a bit optimistic.
Really? It looks *exactly* the same as the cover, to the brushstroke. I would expect detectible differences in a preliminary work.
Some artists make canvas prints of the original and then touch up using oils to give it an authentic feel. That's the only way I could see this not being the original - and if so, it should be listed as a giclee.
Thanks for posting that. CK is definitely a preliminary sketch - it's fascinating to compare it to the original.

Just a heads up, that’s the knock off CD in Michigan, not the real one in Maryland.
Should they though?
I mean it is not as if they are using the same ebay ID....sure it is close (missing an "e").....but is is not the same.
At the end of the day, the buyers feedback and history should be the main consideration.
Now if you will excuse me....I am off to open a hamburger restaurant called McDowell's.......
Was really going for Coming to America....not familiar with HS.

Cool book with tons of signatures, alas; not by King. Shipping is a choker. Make a low ball offer:

In my experience, $52 is not that crazy for a heavy book. Even before the pandemic, it would cost $40-60 to ship a book from the Netherlands to the US, depending on the value and weight of the parcel.
