Way to go!!!! I had "Mountains to scale" in order to get mine going, but now its "Old hat". You'll get there too!!!
Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, No use the Icon next to the envelope (above) to insert link to. Then it will put the pic directly into the thread, like all the other Collection Threads.
Usually some form of "Direct Link" info from PB or the others does it. I use "Imageshack". There is a "How To" thread somewhere that I used and made it easier. I'm an "Old fart" so you can imagine how difficult it was to get me "on-board". LOL LOL
Thanks for the patience and help, I seem to have got it:excited:

Looking good man! The collection is wonderful and I love the bookshelves.
As Niel Young said in "The Last Waltz". "You got it now Robbie"!!!!
Awesome stuff!!!!!!! Keep it coming!!!!!
Sorry for the "shinyness?", if it has a dj then it gets a brodart.
Don't worry about "Photog" skills, we all love the "close-ups" LOL
Great stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will post more tomorrow, sleepy:yawn:
Nice and i really like the bookshelves, they are different, but different as in great!!!
I also like the staggered look of your shelves, and the books look great on them. I also have a PS Publishing File Copy of a COLORADO KID! Great minds think alike, you know!
Looking good!
John
The way you display the books are those beautiful shelves really show them off. I like that. Looks fantastic.
Nice Job! Looks great! What is The Stand on the bottom of the shelf across from "The Plant"? Is that a first?
The bottom shelve with the Plant are just my reader copies. The 1st/1st Stand is on a upper shelf waiting for my 1st/1st The Shining to be it's neighbor (it's in the mail). I will be posting more pics tonight when I get off work.
Great collection you got there ! Really nice bookshelves too
Great setup. Congratulations for figuring out the picture thing.
Nice to see some paperbacks. Not everyone goes after them. (except RAGE, maybe)
I like the old paperbacks because those are the ones I read as a youngster. Carrie, Salem's Lot, and Christine are all 1st/1st and the most expensive one was $2.50 I think. Love Half-Price Books.
What a handsome collection!!!
From both a display and inventory perspective!!!!
:clap::clap::clap:
Great looking collection. I love the bookcase(s).
Thanks all, I looked 6 months for those bookcases, so yes I was very picky about them. The compliments make me feel the search was worth it:panic:
Garrell,
Very nice collection, very nice cases
Well done, congrats.

An old art piece of mine. Marilyn Monroe. 64 different "textures".
...and another
http://i1118.photobucket.com/albums/...7/HPIM0004.jpg
Charlie Chaplin done with a magic marker and ink dropper. I even custom made the wood board that it is done on.
Beautiful pieces. You ever sell any or is it more of a personal hobby? They'd definitely bring some money.
Currently working on a Cell or DT piece, working on sketches/ideas for both. Got a giant canvas that needs some paint on it, was a gift to get me back into.
Hence, the thread is named collections, not just book collections:)
I really like that Marilyn Monroe piece amd the eagle is stunning! Such talent! I wish I could draw.
I had been offered a good amount for the Marilyn piece, but they wanted the rights to it also. They wanted it and for me to do a John Wayne and Michael Jordan. Looking back I should have maybe done it? The eagle is just a photo of a copy of it, the real piece is in Cali w/my sister. So you really can't see the details here.
Today's new stuff...

This my homage to Dali. Couldn't afford a real dali, so I just drew one.

I LOVE the Chaplin piece and appreciate your homage to Dali. I live near(ish) to St. Petersburg, Fl and always enjoy going to the Dali museum there.
