BMCOAT - Round 1, Group B

Gotta go with Leia.
You know, because she's ... well, Leia.

Brice, can you please edit my vote? I was voting John Keating (Dead Poets Society) - of course - and missed the button with the sweaty paw, because of this ungodly heat
so, can you please make it: Red - minus one vote; John Keating - plus one vote?

Jean: My pleasure! :) Though I was tempted a little to leave your vote since you accidentally voted for who I did intentionally. You're just lucky this wasn't the ACO thread. I don't know that I could have changed that one. ;)

That's why I was especially careful while voting in that other group http://s91.photobucket.com/albums/k2...ear_wink-1.gif
P.S. I would have voted for Red here, if not for John Keating
P.P.S. I think I know who Brother JB is going to vote for... bears seem to recognize the picture...

I wonder who it could be. :orely:

In Empire Strikes Back, she's even more that that.
However...

Whatever became of the moment when one first knew about death? There must have been one. A moment. In childhood. When it first occurred to you that you don't go on forever. Must have been shattering. Stamped into one's memory. And yet, I can't remember it. It never occurred to me at all. We must be born with an intuition of mortality. Before we know the word for it. Before we know that there are words. Out we come, bloodied and squawling, with the knowledge that for all the points of the compass, there’s only one direction. And time is its only measure.

Leia in Empire... so incredibly rockin' cool.
Who else could pull of a line like "Why you stuck-up, half-witted, scruffy-looking nerf herder!"
-
that's exactly why i voted for her.
-
:couple: and this accounts for both votes.

So what will happen if, like now for instance, the 2nd place is taken up by more than 3 entries? Some kind of sudden death?
-
Yes. We invite the actors to come here and jell-o wrestle to the death. It usually takes six or seven hours.
Just kiddin!!!
The top 4 vote getters advance in this round !

I don't appreciate you making me choose between The Terminator and Red. that's messed up. <_<

I think that Dead Poets Society was very overrated. If I had seen it for the first time just yesterday, I suppose that I would have said, "What great lessons for those kids!" However, I was still a kid myself when I saw it for the first time, and what I was thinking then was "Tell me something I don't know."
The Emperor's Club (2002) is a better story in that mileau, IMO. And my pick from Robin Williams will probably always be Garp.
-
<-- couldn't stand Dead Poets... at all.

It may be so, yes, but I was voting for the character, not the movie.
-
Okay. Thanks. That makes things... harder.

3 movies fighting for the last berth to the next round! Let's break that tie folks!
