Boys Life is a great story. It took me awhile to get into it but when I did I flew through the book.

Started reading "Dead Sea" by Tim Curran on Friday and don't see myself finishing the book. So on Saturday went to the local library and picked up a copy of "From the Dust Returned" by Ray Bradbury and am loving it so far.
I started The Scarlet Pimpernel...again. This is my 19th(!) re-read. You just can't beat a classic!
i purchased 'The Room' and '127 hours' yesterday. (for the boat ride)
I started Gone by Michael Grant last night. I downloaded it a few weeks ago after hearing a lot of praise for it in another thread on this site.
i loved it when i read it, went to the bookstore to get Hunger but it had sold out
let me know your thoughts:)
Finally got a copy of The Road... really depressing book :(
yes, very depressing book. The movie is even worse.
I am now reading Christine, by Stephen King. I love this book. It is actually my most favorite SK book. I love it because the setting is in Pittsburgh. (I am from Pittsburgh) I enjoy reading about places I have been to, like the Monroville Mall, Pittsburgh Airport.
I am halfway through Danse Macabre, and am very much enjoying it. At first I was kind of put off by the fact that I didn't know a fair few of the movies and books that he was talking about, but once I got into it a little bit, I really like it.
On writing... got finished the other day, and that too was very good. I found it very interesting to read about his opinions on how to write, and of course about his life.
Currently I am still reading Dance Macabre and have also started re-reading The Talisman. I kept thinking about that and Black House and decided I should get into it again, and it is a very happy re-read.
help me guys, in the last month I've read Lucifer's Hammer, One Second After, and The Road... and now have no idea what to read next!
ETA: So I started reading Sh*t My Dad Says.... have never laughed that hard while reading something!
I am now reading Pet Semetery by Stephen King. This is another book on my quest to read SK books in order of publication. There is one problem, I am scared to death of this book! Ever since I had children, this book and movie (especially the movie!) really bothers me. So far I have read the first couple of chapters, not so bad yet. I wonder if I will be able to get through it all? I have a feeling I might stop reading it after Gage's accident.
Stephen King would be happy that it scares you.
Pet Sematary is really the only book that's "scared" me. I've often thought of re-reading it, but end up shelving that idea. :scared:
I just finished Justin Cronin's "The Passage". Pretty darn good book!!!! He gets a little "Soapy" at times, but overall a great read. I heard this is supposed to be a trilogy, anyone?
Regardless, Read it!!!!!
:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Yeah, it's scheduled to be a trilogy. The books are supposed to come out at two-year intervals.
John
John is right. The next book, The Twelve, ironically is scheduled to come out in 2012. Entertainment Weekly released a little excerpt from it last week and it really got me excited for the next book! I'm sensing a re-read in the near future.
almost done with the Otherland series, and it is great. :D
Finished Sh*t My Dad Says great little book! I've started A Game of Thrones... so far its been hard to get into...
Just started World War Z. Looks like a fun read so far!
