Maybe I'm not in on the joke, but done you mean the "surives" in the headline?

Maybe I'm not in on the joke, but done you mean the "surives" in the headline?
The joke is the complaint over a missing hyphen deep in the corner of the page when there is a huge misspelling in large font right at the top front and center.
And a missing apostrophe in the headline as well.
JFK Surives Assasins Bullet > JFK Survives Assassin's Bullet
Would-be would be correct.
I may be naive, but I assumed that newspaper was a "Special Edition". If that were true, typos would be expected because of the rush to get the edition out.

as a reminder: looking for The Stand S/L
If anyone has one please let me know

It's good to finally be back.
I ended up ordering the signed 1st/1st of 11/22/63 from Betts. And ordering the collector case from StephenKingcollector.com.
The typo's bothered me until I read "I may be naive, but I assumed that newspaper was a "Special Edition". If that were true, typos would be expected because of the rush to get the edition out."...
While that may not be the actual reason for the typo's it makes enough sense for me to overlook them... the case really is gorgeous.

Wanted: Mr Mercedes Uk Collectors Edition and UK first Edition. Please PM me if you have any available!
Heard back from Mindy just a few minutes ago, and unfortunately my #186 request for Doctor Sleep was lost in the upgrade to a remarqued copy.
So, if anybody comes up with #186, I'm your man and have a doube-remarqued #110 to trade with.
I can't willfully suspend my disbelief quite that much. Massive typos in the massive headlines of the most massive news story in decades? Even the drunkest newspaperman on the planet would have at least caught the ones in the headlines. Shame, because it's a great case and a good idea.

(I always have to grin at a complaint about typos that contains typos!)
The whole title is a typo! Dewey lost the election.
It's probably a long shot but if anyone has #102 of PS Publishing's Christine and interested in selling, let me know. Thanks.
