I actually thought it was alright (just got back), however, could have done without the 3D.

Thank you.
That movie pissed me off. Johnny Depp tried to act, but the film did not let him.
I was surprised that Johnny Depp did not go overkill in his portrayal of the Mad Hatter.
after all the pirate movies, I was actually glad the focus was not on Depp. I've been a fan of Depp since Nightmare on Elm Street and 21 Jump Street, but I was actually glad the focus was not on him.
I would watch this one.
That just cracked me up
Just realised something today.
It's been over 3 years since Hot Fuzz, the same length of time that HF was released after Shaun of the Dead...
...and there's still no sign of the third installment of The Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy! :(
Oh well. There's still Pegg's and Frost's new film Paul to look forward to this year, not to mention Edgar Wright's new film Scott Pilgrim versus the World! The awesome creative team divided, but they're bound to be worth a look! (Although I probably wouldn't have bothered with Scott Pilgrim if it wasn't directed by Wright, tbh.) Anyone else looking forward to these films?
just watched green zone. it was a pretty good political/war movie.
the previews made me really want to watch wallstreet 2, robin hood, kick-ass, and the losers.
....momma didn't raise no fool
The only thing I could think about when I watched the previews for Green Zone was : "Yeap, Bourne 4."
Iron Man 2, Kick-Ass, and Robin Hood are pretty high up on my To-Watch list, but the movie I'm looking forward to the most is Inception. Christopher Nolan

i also thought green zone would be another bourne-esque movie. it was completely and utterly not even close...surprised me
Mmmm hmm, I saw it late 2008/early 2009. Great movie, and even more impressive considering it's his directorial debut. It's considered by many to be a type of 'blueprint' for Memento.
I've seen all of Nolan's movies :D
Has anyone seen The Exterminating Angel by Luis Bunuel ?
Dude what about Tron Legacy?

Would it be wrong of me to admit that I have still yet to watch the original Tron movie from start to finish? Seen bits and pieces, but I've yet to watch the whole film!
no. I still like it, but I find it slightly different from when I was 10 and saw it the for the first time and then being 30 something and watching again. I'm hoping Tron Legacy is good and not a bomb.
Brice, Woofer, have either of you seen Jack Ketchum's Offspring? I just caught the trailer and it looked really good, but the ratings weren't too high so I was wondering if it was worth a watch or not.
