Interesting, but I, too, am not qualified to vote here, for the same reason as bears.
I suggest we start with Watership Down. If it moves on, we'll have time to read it before the decisive voting ends.

On The Road is one of my all-time favorites.
On The Beach had a great impact on me when I read it in high school.

well i would read one of the bottom three, but it would probably skew the vote on an arbitrary pick on which one was shorter or that I chose to read.
