LOL, I try to keep up with things through the weekend. I'm getting pretty good at it! Oh, and I dropped a couple of names off the bottom of the list since they hadn't picked in a few weeks so you probably did move up. :)
wow did i ever take a beating this week. i went out on numerous limbs. without fail, they all snapped. oh well, plenty of games to go.
That's what's so damn hard--sometimes those limbs don't snap, so I tend to take risks too.

with this many people and the race always so tight, the only real way to ever create any distance is to take risks. perhaps i should spread them out over more weeks, but i thought i'd try to make an early move this season. oh well, twelve games x 32 teams left to recover. :D
so, as to that...

i'm really looking forward to that monday night game. monday night jets/dolphins history is full of classics. it will be fun to see a rex ryan defense take on the flavor of the month wildcat offense. miami looked useless against coach ryan's ravens last year in the playoffs. this jets defense should be able to shut them down. miami also has a pretty pourous defense at times so the jets should be able to jump on that.

Man! Denver is strong!
i'd say that was about 50% of the equation
denver is better than people thought
the patriots are also not as good as people thought
it's time for people to admit the truth
post-injury, tom brady is not the same quarterback he was.
it is evident that he is terrified to get hit again and suffer another injury. he gets rid of the ball as soon as a defender looks at him funny.
so many players are never the same after their first serious injury. much as i hate the patriots and brady, it's a shame. you never want to see these guys get hurt.
speaking of quarterbacks... while he has yet to attain the heights of "best ever," i am, at this point, willing to state that peyton manning is the best quarterback i have ever seen play. every decision is right. every throw is perfect. and most of all, he just makes it look effortless.
if only the jets hadn't tied up their fortunes with bill parcells in the 90's as he was the reason peyton stated he didn't want to be drafted #1 by the jets and went back to school instead.

i shouldn't even have bothered picking this week, i'd have done better by taking the worst minus one.
the bills will not be picked again by me until they fire their coach
the chiefs should not be picked by anyone until next season
as for brady and the pats and blahblah, who gives a shit, let someone else get overpaid like a bastard for crying for penalty flags every time someone gets close to him. i hope he gets knee-jacked again and is out for life, favre too.
post-injury, tom brady is not the same quarterback he was. So true!
