i hope all yall are wrong about my niners.

guy at work bet me 50 dollars week 1 the Cards would win. I made 50. He paid me 50, then bet me the Hawks would take them........

so i made 50, he owes me 50. We're letting it ride. If the Niners beat Minnesota, and they can, I'll be 150 in 3 weeks of football. Nice, huh?

Also, yall should know Favre broke a nail last week, and is listed as injured and probable.

but Pat, this isn't about who you want to win, it's who you believe will win, logically. I wouldn't call Niners if I didn't think they'd have a chance, and I've called against them alot, lord knows. Just not this year.

carolina is the same team from last year, basically. we have the potential to be just as good, depending on how delhomme plays. cowboys arent as good as they are supposed to be (are they ever?). so i pick the panthers in a 50/50 chance. if they keep losing, i will be forced to pick better teams

oh god i screwed up bad this week. The raiders just totally went to shit, too. and althought i was wrong on the Bengals call, i got to say they played great, and it was an exciting game to watch! So were my niners! they lost, but man, what a game. Too bad Farva got so lucky on that last throw.

i thought the raiders went to shit the year after the super bowl loss to the bucs and have been there ever since :P

the bengals i think are a lot better than people (me included) thought they would be. they are a fluke catch by brandon stokely away from being 3-0 today.

be proud of your 9ers jb. they are a tough team this year and are going to be in the fight for a playoff spot in the nfc as opposed to that joke of a team that won the nfc last year. last night showed once more, if you rush kurt warner at all, he's terrible. let him stand in the pocket all day and he's better than johnny unitas. rush him and he turns into chad pennington.

as for favre, he gets all the credit from the moron sportscasters, but it was the catch that was spectacular.

i thought the raiders went to shit the year after the super bowl loss to the bucs and have been there ever since :P I agree with you there, but it really looked like they were turning it around in those first 2 games. Then this week. I have absolutley no idea why Jamarcus Russell is a starter.

the bengals i think are a lot better than people (me included) thought they would be. they are a fluke catch by brandon stokely away from being 3-0 today.yes they are that good. This will affect how i make my picks in the future.

be proud of your 49ers jb. they are a tough team this year and are going to be in the fight for a playoff spot in the nfc as opposed to that joke of a team that won the nfc last year. last night showed once more, if you rush kurt warner at all, he's terrible. let him stand in the pocket all day and he's better than johnny unitas. rush him and he turns into chad pennington. I am proud of them, and agree with your assesment of Warner. I was angry when the niners bid on him, and was angry when they chose that joke over a good qb like Sanchez in the draft. They need a good qb. Hill is passable, but not great, and I doubt he ever will be. I hope I'm wrong.

as for favre, he gets all the credit from the moron sportscasters, but it was the catch that was spectacular. agree again. Still, i don't think he even saw what he was doing, just sent up a prayer.

i agree all around jb, though obviously as a jets fan i am grateful we wound up with sanchez. out of family loyalty, i am also a big usc fan so i was hoping beyond hope we'd get sanchez and i know it's early, but he sure looks like the real deal to me.

one thing we know about the 49ers, with mike singletary as a coach, they will have a defense few people will want to play against.

FYI, NeedfulKings is on vacation and asked me to tally the wins and post Week 4 tomorrow.
I'll do my best, but please double check my math.

Well, its time for kick off, and even though I picked the cowgirls to win it, I hate the Cowgirls, and since almost every one else picked them too and it doesnt really matter.......

Go Panthers!
