On the left; a good, old girl
On the right; fire stations 39, 90, 100 and 102

Galvanize: 1. To stimulate or shock with an electric current.
2. To arouse to awareness or action.

gal - Van Nuys
Van Nuys is the district in LA which is covered by fire stations 39, 90, 100 and 102.
I think gal speaks for herself.

Yay!

I must say I was a tad surprised that I found the answer to this one, but I was bored, giving the riddle juuust that extra bit of attention it needed.

I'm still bored, so I'm working on riddle myself. I hope it works out, since English isn't my native tongue.

Good riddle, Gabe!
