No problem with compound words so far, and I tend to put the hardest clues first (funner that way :) )
And yes, I do use google a lot once I have a particular word picked out. Some I had never heard of either. :evil:

Years ago my girls' Girl Scout troop brought cookies to Pascagoula Air Station. The Commander of the base was a woman and she graciously met with us and gave us a tour. Other female servicemembers also accompanied us. One of our girls asked a question about "what you guys do in case of hurricanes", then corrected herself.
